What a productive evening! I can’t believe it, but I actually started and completed a project in one day. One afternoon really! This pattern is AMAZING!
I think this dress with a cardi will end up being my “It’s freezing in my classroom but I have recess duty today!” solution.
I am already cutting out another!

Here’s my review…
Pattern Description: Dress, Jacket, and Pants
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Extremely! I was actually able to follow every single word they wrote – I can almost never do that. Here’s proof – I bought this pattern today. It was so easy that I could buy it, cut it out, and sew it together IN ONE DAY!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really liked how the facing and armholes worked. It was almost fool-proof and turned out absolutely perfect. This is a first for me. I also liked the directions for the zipper. I figured that it would cause me problems (they always do!) but I followed their directions exactly and had no trouble at all.
Fabric Used: I just used some cheap cotton from Hobby Lobby to try this pattern out. Now I wish I’d used something a little fancier because it turned out so well!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None at all. I usually have to adjust this and change that to make a pattern fit, but not this one! I cut out the size directed according to my measurements, and didn’t have to change a single thing. It fits perfectly!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I’m already planning the next one! I think something red and floral… :)
Conclusion: This pattern is AWESOME! I can’t believe how easy it was and how well it fits. I’m making another (or ten!) just as soon as my fabric order arrives!
